To switch on, simply rotate the probe out using the release point at the top - its clever, hygienic design means you don't need to touch the probe itself. The large, easy-read digital display activates immediately, offering instant readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Inside the handle, behind a sliding cover, there's a handy printed guide providing recommended safe temperatures for cooking beef, pork, lamb and chicken.
