This pot can make up to 3 cups of strong coffee (approx. 130 ml). It is made of lightweight but sturdy aluminium, with a plastic handle and a knob on the lid for safe and convenient serving. The proven design consists of three parts – a lower water container, a central filter, and an upper pot for the finished coffee. The coffee is prepared by simple extraction: heated water passes through the ground coffee and rises to the top as a delicious "espresso" without the need for electricity. 

It is designed for gas and electric stoves. Not suitable for induction. We recommend hand washing without detergents – moka pots mature over time and each preparation adds to their character. Important: always prepare a full dose – Bialetti moka pots are designed for a specific volume.

How to prepare coffee: to make a great cup of coffee, simply pour water into the boiler up to the safety valve, insert the funnel in the tank and add the ground coffee for moka without pressing it. Close the moka tightly and place it on the hob at medium temperature. Wait for coffee to gurgle as it rises to the collector (upper chamber), turn off the heat and finally enjoy a good coffee!

Cleaning instructions: the Bialetti Moka Express should only be rinsed with water after each use. Do not use detergents. The product should not be washed in the dishwasher as this could cause damage to the product and affect the taste of coffee.
